Final Project
Week 10
(28th of May 2018)
On the tenth week of class, Mr. Hafiz briefed us on what we need to do for the final project while showing us a few examples. We're supposed to animate based on the choice of song that Mr. Hafiz chose. We were also given the chance to choose 2 sections from the song that we would like to animate. The song that was chosen for this project is Us Against the World by Coldplay. I decided to animate these parts.

We were also required to have the moodboards and concept board where as by next week, we should already have a rough sketch on what we wanted to do for our final project. This is my moodboard for the final project, where I decided to use mostly cold colors and combine with a few warm colors. I wanted my work to use colors that resembles neon lights.

Week 11
(4th of June 2018)
On the 11th week, we started working on storyboards and animatic storyboard. I showed Mr. Hafiz my concept and my storyboard as well as the animatic storyboard. Mr. Hafiz said that my idea is good it's just that when I'm animating it I have to make sure to pay attention to the rotation of the camera as my animation has a lot of rotations. Other than that, I can start working on my animation already.

The concept that I decided to use for this project is thick lines and sketchy drawing styles where there won;t be much details so I can play around with the strokes and also using the color schemes that I've chosen.

Week 12
(11th of June 2018)
No classes was conducted on this week.
Week 13
(18th of June 2018)
On the thirteenth week, Mr. Hafiz consulted each of us on our work and afterwards we continue to work on it. Mr. Hafiz asked me to draw the dancing couple as a whole so that it'll be easier for me if I wanted to play around with the angle later on.
Week 14
(25th of June 2018)
On the fourteenth week, I finished my work and showed Mr. Hafiz where Mr. Hafiz said it's good enough but if I wanted to I can try to make the background animated as well so it's not static, then add some shadows on the characters as well as layers to show a bit of depth. So I tried my best to adjust everything based on feedbacks given.
Throughout the process of coloring my work, I decided to also get some inspiration from Coldplay's album as a choice of color schemes.

For the dancing part of the characters I also decided to use this picture as reference, though I should tried to find a video to make the dancing part smoother.
